Having visited the Cafe Manzil for 20 years plus it never fails to deliver. Good food and good service at a reasonable price, don't go past this place give it a try.

This was the first time I had been to Cafe Manzil, now known as Aamaya's (There are various spellings). If there had been a 3.5 stars, I would have gladly awarded that. It is above average but not quite good enough yet, in my perception, for "very good". The food was fine, although in no way spectacular. The lamb and... More

Following recommendations from others, four of us visited this new restaurant (Amaaya) recently. Our favourite starters, onion rings and pakora, were very enjoyable matching the best we have received anywhere. The mains, two chicken tikka dishes were excellent. However, the two king prawn tikka dishes were very poor with the prawns in both dishes overcooked to the extend they were... More

Last visited this restaurant around 40 years ago when I lived in the area when it was known as Manzil. Got to say I was pleasantly surprised. The Kerala Chicken was plentiful and the flavours were wonderful. Good to see an old favourite is still delivering the goods under another name.

The interior hasn't been altered at all despite the change of name - even the mirrors still have Cafe Manzil on them. The food, however, seems to be even better than the Manzil served. There's a real depth of flavour - you can taste the blend of spices rather than just the overall effect. I recommend the lamb bhoona and... More

I visited this resturant many times with my family and friends before it changed hands earlier this year. The food and the service is still amazing. Also great value for money. The only downfall is lack of atmosphere . It's so quiet at times even on weekends. So people of Hamilton, get behind this great eatery and support a local... More

Lovely, welcoming and polite staff who couldn't do enough for us :) We were able to walk in without a reservation which was a plus on a busy Saturday night. The food was fantastic, tasted beautiful and was served quickly (although my curry had a bit of a skin on the top of it). BUT, what really let them down... More

Here for early dinner and had the pre theatre for £11.95 for 3 courses. Excellent menu good choice , freshly prepared. The buffet menu was also very good, however did not start until 6 pm and we could not wait. Unusual to have buffet available on Friday nights this is normally a mid week get you in. The only thing... Have visited this establishment more times than I can remember, I also used to work next door many years ago and know the staff and food pretty well. The last time we had dropped in the food was discounted 30% from your final bill which was really good. As a family we had ordered so much food that we really... More
