Everything about our meal was beautiful from start to finish. The homemade butter that accompanied the delicious bread told us immediately that we were in for a treat. I had pea soup with smoked salmon to start, the soup was perfectly smooth and lovely. My fillet steak was cooked to perfection and though the accompaniments were fairly usual steak sides,... More

Please please please - Go here and try the tasting menu, each course (there are 4 of them) is a surprise dish and its actually very reasonably priced. We had the wine taster to go with it - worth every penny!!!! a different wine that compliments the food and boy it does. Lukas gave us a great running commentary for... More

Came here for dinner on the night of the Strictly Come Dancing final on TV and had a fantastic meal. We went for the 5 course tasting menu 'Just feed us Graeme' so that was really interesting. As each course came out we hadn't a clue what we were getting but it was all delicious and beautifully presented. We also... More

My wife and I visited on Saturday evening as a treat for my birthday. We received a warm greeting and quickly shown to our table. We've eaten here before, know how good Graeme's cooking is and so decided to go for the tasting menu with Lucas' wine flight to go with it. We enjoyed great service throughout with excellent food... Cozy place. It was our best dining experience in Perth but we were generally not amazed by the restaurants in this country... This was the only place where we felt that the chef has a clear picture about what he wants, the food was well presented and flavored. Special thanks to the restaurant manager who respected all our special wishes... More

Decided to have an impromptu lunch . Called in and picked the 'surprise' lunch menu £22.00 each. Starter was Mallard with pear and celeriac , followed by Beetroot risotto, with smoked beef . Main course was a pork chop, with pear and mustard , sweet was chocolate and coconut brownie with chocolate mouse, and peach. This does not do the... More

Very very bad. Always treat the other half to a Christmas meal (surprise restaurant). This has been the worst choice to date. £60/head for a five course meal?? No drinks in that price... Well except for a glass of bubbly. One course was a teaspoon of slop. Rank. ,£120 lighter and had to get chips on way home as was... More

We stopped in for lunch at this amazing restaurant and what a great experience it was. We had the 4 course mystery taster menu which at £22 was amazing value for money,we took the 4 course taster wine with this and Lucas really knows his wines. Tastefully decorated and a lovely atmosphere. Well worth a visit for a bit of... More

Description
Perths 63 Tay Street is regularly billed as one of Scotlands top restaurants. Set in a typical imposing grey stone building, the small but perfectly formed dining room is pure elegance from soaring ceilings to polished wood floors. The menu is made up of British classics given a contemporary twist, so youll find your Aberdeen Angus served with an oxtail sauce and your Inverurie lamb rack, neck and shank may be served with traditional neeps, but youll also find chorizo mash on your plate. The use of fresh, local ingredients and fine produce sourced from further afield means that every dish promises to delight those tastebuds.
