I'm a fan of Wetherspoons. Good beer, ok food, some nice buildings and great value. Elgin's version stops at good beer however. For about a year the service has been appalling. Bar staff change on a weekly basis and there is never enough on. They...More

Stopped in before the football. Friendly staff and a decent choice of drink, but my steak and ale pie was stone cold on the plate and cheap tasting. Wouldn't recommend food from there on this experience but everything else was fine.

You usually expect a reasonable meal from Wetherspoons but today was not the case the warmest part of my incorrect meal was the lettuce and tomato and a complaint to staff got me a disinterested shrug.

Not nice. Tepid food, scruffy bar and waiting staff. Definately won't be back. Usually know what you are getting in these places but Elgin has to be the worst one I've eaten in
