we always come to this café because of the lovely staff, service and menu, great for some home made soup and a sandwich, the coffee is always excellent and hot. they also have a lovely selection of cakes, down the stairs they have a cracking gift shop, well worth a visit.

Great cafe serving real homemade food and cakes!! And all for a good price. Lovely friendly staff. Only downside is the rather tired looking decor. The table we were at was broken and the chairs were worn.

We were served swiftly and with great cheerfulness. The soup and sandwich deal was fantastic. But the baking including the Victoria Sandwich cake was out of this world.

Reached by a spiral staircase in a fascinating shop this modern restaurant offers a selection of cakes and scones with plentiful plates of pannini and other sandwiches. Excellent staff and good prices.

Had a soup and sandwich lunch, on a gluten free diet and they had a lot of options. Service really good and lunch was delicious. Nice glass of wine also.

Had lunch after tasting at Gordon & MacPhail. This was a very modern bistro, upstairs with a light lunch menu and homemade pastries.

This restaurant is on the first floor of an interesting and different gift shop. Reached by a spiral staircase, the cafe come restaurant as a wide selection of dishes for breakfast or light lunch at reasonable cost. Excellent quality products are served by pleasant and efficient staff in an airy and modern environment. Best for cakes I have found on... More
