Chips were old and the fish was greasy and tasteless! Not cheap for something we threw in the bucket. So many nice take aways in Nairn shame this meal was so disappointing.

My husband and I first encountered The Dolphin chip shop after an unpleasant experience at a restaurant in the town in which we came away with ravenous appetites at quite a late hour, so making a meal at home was out of the question. There was quite a queue, which I took as a good sign that it must be... More

I must say that I am not a chippy(french fry) person). But I must say that this place has some of the best chips in have tasted in a very long time. My four year old son tends to agree as he has a palate for such tasty food. Well done. Keep up the good work.

This was the most expensive and most awful meal I ever remember from a chippy. After a couple of bites it went in the bin. I have never known such expensive trash. I later spoke to a local who told me those in the know never go there. The grease oozed out and oil stank.

Had a lovely take away from here while on holiday. Not very often you find a chip shop that serves you lovely crispy batter, but this one definitely does.

My wife and I had fish, chips and mushy peas and the quality of the food was excellent. Also, the staff were very friendly and helpful. Judging by the constant stream of customers this view is shared by many in Nairn.

We have just moved to the area and popped in for supper. Staff were friendly and helpful, everything was cooked fresh while we waited. Nicest Fishcakes we have ever had !! (And we have had a few in the most expensive restaurants in Cornwall) Will certainly be coming again...:)
