Visited this week for what we thought was going to be a lovely meal... How wrong could we be! After being seated and ordering drinks we waited almost an hour for our meals. Myself and my partner both ordered fish chips with mushy peas. Firstly they weren't 'chips' they were french fries! Secondly the fish( I use that term lightly)... More

Found this by restaurant whilst wandering around Fort William in the afternoon hoping to find somewhere for dinner that evening. Made a reservation and hoped for the best. The service was efficient and friendly. For the main course had a fresh whole lobster for £18.95 which was cooked to perfection, we enjoyed it so much we went back again the... More

Myself and a few friends visited this restaurant whilst in the area to climb Ben Nevis. Stopped in here the night before our climb. Had originally tried another restaurant that was full, so ended up going in here to avoid the Spoons down the road. Atmosphere is pleasant enough and got a table no problem (perhaps our first warning). Menu... More

Ate out here whilst staying in the area. Very cosy atmosphere indeed. Friendly staff who took our order swiftly. Ordered the beef shin in its own gravy with mashed potatoes and my son ordered the spaghetti bolognaise. Both meals went down a treat. For desert my son enjoyed the choc brownie and wish I'd ordered it myself. Yum! Would def... More

Stopped in the new restaurant here - now called "Square" - and was pleasantly surprised. The owner has done a fine job training the staff and service was personable and excellent. The food was delicious. Would recommend to anyone looking for a nice evening.

I visited no4 with my family (ages - 63,70,15,43) we were just looking for a place to have dinner after a long day of traveling, we stumbled across no4 which was tucked away in a little corner, when we first walked in to no4 there was no one around, after a minute of waiting someone finally arrived, we were seated... My husband and I spent the weekend in Fort William recently and prior to going - almost two months before going - we were looking for a restaurant for the Saturday evening. We booked the No4 by email and received confirmation. When we arrived the place was shut. It was a really awful wet night and we don't know Fort... More

I should have known by the fact that there were cash only signs on the window and we were the only people in the place that this was going to be a dodgy experience! I had smoked salmon as a starter, this was the tough scraps of salmon you can buy cheaply in a supermarket, but worse! Dad had soup... More
