Offering a good deal at the moment, 2 main courses for the price of one. My wife and I had a steak, excellent value when you consider the deal offered. The steaks were very good and cooked (medium) as we like them.

We went because of the BOGOF vouchers plus the kids like it...BUT the food has really gone downhill in the last year. I don't know why but i had half roast chicken and it was cooked differently on each half. One side overdone and the other side cremated, rubbery peas only the chips were nice. The better half had this... More

The restaurant is ok, staff are lovely but food is either really good and hot and served quickly or you are kept waiting for ages and it's pretty average. Prices have crept up a fair bit recently. So try to go when they have any offers, and a quick tip don't keep your tab open if you really don't need... More

Decided to eat here after being out for the day - bad idea. Burgers were so dry needed a mouthful of drink to help moisten it, completely tasteless supposed to have cheese and mushroom - one mushroom between several burgers. Dessert wasn't any better, waffles which had been microwaved till it was like rubber had to use fork and knife... More

Once again I feel I must speak about the poor vegrtarian selection in this establishment. On my last visit the broccoli & mushroom wellington was ordered. This was a small puff pastry pie served with 4 very small boiled potatoes, halved, and a spoonful of lukewarm green split peas. This cost more than my partner's gammon steak, but was only... More

We stayed overnight in the adjacent Premier Inn so had booked the meal deal which included breakfast. Staff in the restaurant were very pleasant and made our young grandson feel right at home. The meal at night was very nice. However, be aware if you order the 1/2 chicken and ribs, you do get a plateful so make sure you... More

We were staying next door, and due to mobility issues, couldn't really travel too far, so the Brewer's Fayre was the obvious choice. Thankfully, the lunch, dinner and breakfast we had there was really good. There was plenty of choices and it all tasted really good. The staff were very professional and very attentive.

I stayed in the premier inn for three nights to attend my cousin's husband's funeral and so spent the night before having a meal with my cousin in the restaurant, breakfast on three mornings and an evening meal alone on the middle night. The original concept of the menu was good but in principle putting it into practice with staff... More
