My wife was very pleased with her dinner of soup and then sea bass. No complaints at all about those. Unfortunately, both courses of my dinner were poor. The starter of sliced courgettes in a tempura batter was soggy and greasy, and the accompanying salad...More

It is a hidden treasure in Inverness. From the outside I would not have imagined all that was happening inside. A very busy, bustling atmosphere. We were seated right away, no reservations. The dishes were creative and unique. The food was fresh and nicely prepared....More

Hello, yes, contact the restaurant and they will advise. If I mind correctly there were two GF starters and two GF mains, since I did not have dessert I cannot comment. The only downside is they do not have gluten-free bread.

Open since 1995, the simple cooking and warm, friendly atmosphere has allowed The Mustard Seed to become one of Inverness’s favourite restaurants. The Location on the banks of the River Ness in a converted church building is simply stunning and helps create the wonderful ambience. The transformation from disused church to restaurant created a unique space; with a double-height ceiling and magnificent open log fire. Many of the original period features were retained and combined with a mix of natural and modern finishes. The addition of the terrace on the top floor allows alfresco dining and uninterrupted views of the River, another amazing asset for the restaurant.
