This restaurant is a favourite in Inverness. I met up with a friend for lunch. I had a wonderful turbot tempura meal, she had the linguine with scallops, prawn and rest. Both plates really lovely. Finished off with a lovely crepe brûlée. Enjoy.

Food here is always well presented, flavourful and with lots of variety. The lunch and pre theatre menu, is a little on the expensive side, however, it's always very good. It's on a great spot too, with nice decor and cheery staff.

We were on holiday in Ullapool and went to Inverness just for the day. Having never been to Inverness before had no idea of where to eat. The restaurant is on a corner with a simple unassuming sign ( almost 60s style ). We debated...More

I make time to visit this restaurant every time I come to the Highlands. I am never disappointed, never. Really innovative food flavours which actually work on the palette and not just on the menu listing. Equally interesting wine list - just add another desert...More

We visited on a Saturday for lunch our 2nd visit and it was as god as the last time. Starter I had was amazing Scallops with chorizo. Main course was very well presented and nice. Expensive but you get what you pay for.

Since it opened in 2002, Rocpool Restaurant ha become an effervescent Inverness brasserie with a loyal fan base. A cool contemporary decor with lots of bare wood and bold colours give a buzzy vibe to the restaurant which is situated in a prime site on the banks of the River Ness. The kitchen has a repotoire of eclectic modern dishes which use Scotland's matchless produce sprinkled with Mediterranean sunshine, plus a pinch of exotic spice here and there.
