Positives: attentive friendly staff, good size portions, great coffee and tablet, comfy seats, clean toilets. Overall good value for money. 5/5 Not so good: too much salt in dishes......a problem common to many restaurants. Salt can always be added at the table to suit diners...More

Lots of fish on the menu, plenty to eat - generous portions. Really tasty and a nice break between courses. Although the place is always busy they don't rush you. Highly recommend.

Many places do not accept AmEx in Scotland. I do not recall if this restaurant did or not. My advice is to make sure you have another an alternate credit card to use while in Scotland.

Description
Since it opened in 2002, Rocpool Restaurant ha become an effervescent Inverness brasserie with a loyal fan base. A cool contemporary decor with lots of bare wood and bold colours give a buzzy vibe to the restaurant which is situated in a prime site on the banks of the River Ness. The kitchen has a repotoire of eclectic modern dishes which use Scotland's matchless produce sprinkled with Mediterranean sunshine, plus a pinch of exotic spice here and there.
