Stayed for one night, room was okay though very warm even when radiators turned down. What did annoy us was breakfast which we were told was served until 9.30am. Got downstairs at 9.10 and they were clearing away which was pointed out to us. No toast supplied which was mentioned on menu as supplied with tea or coffee. My scrambled... More

Staff were slow to take our orders. Had to chase up both the drink order and then the food order. The food was decent. Really enjoyed the pizza. Not sure if I'd go back.

We stopped by the Sports Bar to see some American Football (Steelers 24! v Bengals 16) and play some pool near the end of our vacation. It was awesome! First off, they let us watch American Football which was really considerate as there were other games on. Then we received absolutely great service from the bartender. She (Chelsea I think?)... Stayed for three nights, the food was fantastic and the staff were really friendly. The bedroom was adequate and clean, we had to leave the window open because of the heat. The hotel being situated beside the dual carriageway we could smell the traffic fumes. the hotel was very busy and at times the car parking was insufficient. The shower... More

Recently had lunch in this hotel restaurant and I went for the Scotch Broth and Wild Boar and Chorizo Burger. First of all, someone should tell the chef that wild boar is a dark meat animal and that chorizo is a Spanish sausage both of which were non-existent in the burger instead we had pork and a lot of paprika... Good bar area and meals were available there. There is also a restaurant. Good service. Also in the bar area there are at least 4 snooker tables.

We found this sports bar while walking from downtown Inverness to Jury's Inn, the hotel where we stayed. It's about halfway, and was a welcome place to stop for dinner. The kitchen doesn't open until 5:00, so if you're early, just enjoy a pint and watch TV. The menu has a nice variety -- from traditional local fare to burgers... More

Ordered a bacon roll, but they only had white rolls. I asked if they had brown bread, and if so, was it nice tasty bread, or just supermarket bread - if so, I would order something else. Was told that it was tasty granary bread, so ordered a bacon butty. When it arrived, it was thin, cheap supermarket bread, so... More
