My partner and I visited on Saturday 15 April after a few drinks. Both of our dishes were very tasty and also the portions were fine. We very rarely have starters as we cannot finish our main meal. Anyway it is worth a visit, this was our first time at Georges.

Having traveled across south India we went to George's for the first time to try our local cuisine. Tasty dishes (offered in mild, medium or hot) and great service mean we'll be back here again soon. Highly recommended. Between two we shared Idli with sambar and coconut chutney to start followed by Fish Moilee, Vegtable Chettinad with Kerela Parata for... More

Visited y'day for a return trip to George's. A colleague ordered the same as my previous visit, the holi basil fish - it was as I remembered it, soft delicious, rich fish and vegetables in sauce. We also ordered a chicken Thai curry that was full of flavour, a slightly sad, tho very crisp iceberg salad came with it. I... More

if you want to feel pampered and eating in great surroundings then make sure you make a visit here. Wonderful food. Great hosts. Can have under one roof different types of south Indian food and good thing is every food is class by itself.

Every dish was a great success. What a rare treat to enjoy authentic idli (lentil cakes) with sambar (vegetable soup) and coconut chutney for starters, various types of dosas (savoury pancakes) and a wide choice of other Indian and Thai dishes. The Fish curry we ordered was straight from heaven - we went back the next day for more! While... More

Wasn't sure where to eat in Inverness but wandered about and found this gem of a place! Really welcoming and the Thai food was one of the best I've had. The menu is extensive offering Thai and Indian. Atmosphere was great and the restaurant was busy. Will def be back and recommend to others!

Decided we should have Indian food to finish off our mini break in Inverness. We had walked past earlier so decided to give it a try. Good decision. It's lovely inside, service was quick and welcoming, and the food was great. We had a couple of curry dishes (Indian, not Thai) and some of the tastiest naan bread we've had... More

Business trip to Inverness and not knowing where to eat, reviewed trip advisor and spotted George's. Rang through and the young lady advised that a table was available so off we trotted at 7pm. Upon arrival it was nearly empty and the welcome we received was second to none. Plenty of time to peruse the menu and the drinks arrived... More

Chose to go to Georges after reading reviews, I usually eat at Shapla when in Inverness but it is expensive and the service isn't always good so on looking at location and reviews I chose Georges and was not disappointed. Chose an Indian meal from the wide menu. Food was excellent and the service was great, only slight critique was... More
