We stopped here for a late evening dinner after the Bryan adam's concert. The food it seemed was prepared by someone in hurry. The tomato pizza bread, the pizza itself and the desert all tasted below average. However our server was warm and friendly. Typical...More

Won't rush back! Restaurant looked like it could do with a good clean. We both had pizzas which were OK but not as good as in other Zizzi restaurants we have visited - such as the one in Queensferry Street in Edinburgh. pretty average really

When you tell people that italian food is a staple in Scotland because of the sheer number of immigrants in Scotland, the proverbial eyebrow shoots up and pictures of pizza with haggis sling into mind. Just kidding, Zizzi's is about as italian as you can...More

The staff were completely disinterested from start to finish. Our table was terrible- not only was it almost in the toilet, it had a broken foot which made it very unstable. We asked to move but we were declined- being told we couldn’t due to...More

At Zizzi we like to do things a little differently. We don’t do over-complicated recipes or scrimpy portion sizes. We’re all about the well-chosen ingredients, simply put together to make exceptional Italian food.Zizzi Inverness is truly one of the most stunning restaurants we have. One elevation is all glazed floor to ceiling - giving diners a truly amazing view of the river. Four local themes have been the inspiration behind the design of the new restaurant: the historic River Ness, boats, whisky distilleries and the Highlands. A large wooden ceiling raft that is splintered at one end to replicate old boats, light fittings that look like buoys and a rope and pulley feature in the window. The contour lines of the Highlands and Lowlands are detailed through Ordnance Survey maps on the ceiling, whilst copper pipes throughout the restaurant give a nod to the famous distilleries.Dine al fresco with an outdoor dining area for sunny weather.
