Staff were great but unfortunately, the food was not great. Both the good lady and myself have been feeling sick since leaving the restaurant. The Japanese flower Green tea however, was nice.

Visited here on recommendation of taxi driver as don't know Glasgow. Nice welcome and excellent service from staff. Food came quickly and was delicious. They were happy to provide half portion for six year old. I was in wheelchair. Access easy to restaurant, table and accessible toilet.

Japan is a very humble country and so is the food. Staff at this small restaurant are as cheerful as the food. Food portions are reasonable but at such an affordable price it is one of the best the city has to offer. Given it is not to fat from the train station it is a must for visitors of... More

Glasgow shopping......needing refuelled, so we decided something quick, tasty and it had to be Japanese!!! We were welcomed and seated no problems at all. Service was quick and easy with table help, We went for a main with a side. It is an Japanese express restaurant, and it came out within a reasonable time. Food was hot, tasty, simple and... More

Been there couple of times and love their chips cheese and curry. Always get it. The only thing that I would like the change to happen is when you buy the chips cheese curry, rather than giving it out in a bowl having it on a normal plate. The chips on the bottom turn out to be plain were the... More

Went using a voucher deal and I have to say it was great value for money. We both had tempura to start with which was nice. My friend had the Bento and could not finish it and I had the spicy chicken noodles which were ok. Although I didn't have it myself, the tea looked amazing. Bit cold in the... More

Visited Oko Express for lunch and left disappointed. My friends all ordered chicken katsu's and I ordered the special yasai bento box. The rest of the food looked lovely but unfortunately the bento box was horrible. The staff never did a check back and there had been quite a wait for the food. Everything was dry, maybe recommending a sauce... More

Really friendly staff and food was ready promptly. Ordered chicken katsu curry and it cost just over £10. Really expensive for a lunchtime takeaway. Tasty though.

Using a voucher,we all had bento boxes and starters. Very good and they packaged up what we couldn't finish to take away. Felt it was a bit chilly in the restaurant where we were sat (by window)and moreso the draft coming from behind the kitchen area-was a door open? Helpful attentive waiter.
