Everytime we are in Glasgow we visit Amarone for lunch. The food is always superb-the minestrone is in a class of its own. But what makes it particularly enjoyable is the staff who take their cue from the Manager Andy Watt- happy, friendly, attention to detail and putting the diner's satisfaction first. PS Its worth making a reservation as there are... More

Had a lovely meal, they adapted the menu to suit two of the party. Nothing was too much trouble and the food excellent. Good bottle of Chianti too.

The pasta was excellent, and the service was good. The house wine was pretty good too. My wife started with the minestrone soup, which tasted home made. Unusually, it had potato in it, which made it really rich, and just the thing for a cold November night.

We visited with friends for lunch . If you like Italian you will love this restaurant. The restaurant is very busy this time of day. We did not make a reservation and the restaurant was very busy. We only waited for about ten minutes and we were escorted to our table. There is a lunchtime special menu which is very... More

I must admit what truly caught my eye and drew me here was the outdoor seating! In November! But it as just what I was hoping for. Round the corner from Buchanan St., it makes for enjoyable people watching! Very entertaining! Classy tasteful Italian restaurant with an impressive menu to choose from.

Have been to this excellent italian a few times now. Last night it was full and the service and food quality was as excellent as ever with friendly happy staff. Prices are on par with similar restaurants nearby.

The staff are all lovely. The food is to die for and the atmosphere is so chilled out. Lovely music in the background and the occasional underground rumble as a goes by on the Glasgow underground. Would highly recommend this gorgeous restaurant to anyone with a love of good food and wine.

I have been there now several times and every time we leave with a good feeling. Nice meals and they offer also several menu options which give you a very good price / quality balance. Wines are also very good, and friendly personnel!

A large group of our choir(ACE Chorus) had our third night out here last night to celebrate our show on Saturday evening. Everything was great! Lovely friendly staff, efficient service even with large numbers, great food and lovely atmosphere. We all had a fantastic time. Well done again Amarone!

One of the best meals I've ever had. Had a two course dinner (Scallops then the Duck) and was sensational.
