If you're looking for a straightforward somewhat American style Italian restaurant for the entire family DiMaggio's is the place. Friendly staff. Thoroughly enjoyed our meal and experience.

As a family of four requiring a meal prior to attending a Celtic Connections gig we chose Di Maggios for several reasons. It's soooooo handy on a cold January night! We all liked then choice, and the price! There seems to be a few mixed reviews, and it's been a while since we ate here. However we gave it a... More

We visited this restaurant last night as we were going to the Panto at the Pavillion. I had phoned to book a table but the only time available was 430pm so we decided to take it. Nobody mentioned on the phone that we only had the table until 6pm. The manager only informed us of this when we arrived. Firstly... More

Popped in for lunch and it was tasty as always. Hostess opened the main door for us to enter with the pram. Quickly seated and we had drinks soon after. Food was good as we have come to expect, bit difficult slicing the pizza yourself though. Only real annoyance was the table wasn't levelled and kept rocking about. Definitely visit... More

Thanks for the lovely review. I'll pass on your feedback to the team. We're hopefully about to undergo a refurb and I'll make sure the tables are steady as a surgeon's hands! All the best and see you again soon Andrew More

This is the sort of restaurant more interested in selling you over priced drinks and extras than providing you with an excellent dining experience. The food is very very salty. Those in our group having pizzas and lasagne all commented on this. This seasoning is probably done deliberately to require customers to order more drinks ! I wouldn't go back.

This restaurant was right next to our hotel and was never quiet, always a good sign! We were told there was a 10 min wait whgwhgen we first arrived but we were seated a lot quicker. We boith had Salmon but different dishes and both were excellent and delicious. Food arrived very quickly and staff were very friendly and attentive.... More

This was my first visit to Di Maggio's - Theatreland, as I was staying at the next door Holiday Inn. I decided to get a late lunch, having just been to the cinema opposite. I was quickly seated and the menu bright over. There's an excellent choice, including a set menu for one and two courses. The food was excellent... More

Di Maggio's in Theatreland offers affordable dining perfect for couples looking for an evening out after a visit to nearby theatres or shopping in Glasgow city centre. My girlfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed our pizzas which were amongst the best I'd ever tasted. The manager was very effective in seating us quickly, despite how busy it was and arriving too... More

Went with a friend, service was okay. Glutton free pizza was okay, could have been warmer.the service was okay but nothing to write home about. I do think Charing £2.0 supplement for a glutton free pizza is a bit match. Especially as it is down to allergy. No other chain restaurant charges a supplement anymore. This is not a small... More

Description
Di Maggio’s Theatreland is located on West Nile Street, opposite the Royal Concert Hall and moments walk from several of Glasgow’s main theatres and cinemas. Like the other Di Maggio’s in Glasgow and beyond, it is very family-friendly, but its chic contemporary styling, expanses of glass and bustling atmosphere lend it a more adult tone. Located opposite Glasgow’s Royal Concert Hall and a matter of moments walk from many of Glasgow’s main theatres and cinemas, Di Maggio’s Theatreland is a magnet for both audience members and performers, looking for a quick pre-theatre bite to eat or post-show wind down. Our Italian Pizzas are a speciality, with an authentic wood-fired pizza oven giving great results every time, and the full Di Maggio’s menu is on offer alongside great value lunch and pre-theatre menus.
