We met up with friends and we had a group of 14. We opted for a banquet style dinner. Food was good and we all had a great time. Was just surprised at how expensive it ended up being. Would expect a little more for...More

I've been to Dakhin a few times now, for lunch, mainly, and it must be the best deal in the city centre, in terms of quality versus price. £9.95 for a 3 course meal, with some poppadums and dips thrown in before the first course...More
My family and I went for a mid week dinner here and thoroughly enjoyed it. What we didn't know before going was that this restaurant is entirely gluten free. Menu was really different with it being South Indian cuisine. The friendly staff recommended a few...More

We have always enjoyed our meals at this restaurant. Nice area with some nearby pubs for pre/post drinks. The menu has lots of choices and a nice range of wines. The bar area offers many more drink options both alcoholic and non alcoholic.
Great lunch - 3 courses 9.95 or tray with a selection of dishes. Great attentive service, lovely atmosphere and no rush / appropriately judged speed of service.

Perhaps I was put off by the general ambience, decor and furnishings, but I didn't enjoy this experience at all. It is a pub - fairly dark and tavern-like. The food was lacklustre and didn't deliver the aromatic flavours I expect of a class Indian...More
