We have been a few times and the pre-theatre has been excellent each time ! There is a really good choice of starters and main courses and we love the flavours you get in this restaurant - Chinese, Malaysian and Thai. We really like the style of food which is a bit different to a normal Chinese restaurant. All the... More

If you fancy something a lil' bit different, not your run of the mill chinese, then Dragon i might be the choice for you! Their set lunch menu is varied, with plenty of choices and less than a ten spot for two courses. Mrs opted for the chicken patties, myself the crispy duck for starters. The latter was delish, the... Despite a 5.15 pm booking the restaurant became busy by 5.30 mainly with theatre goers. Staff are very friendly, attentive and informative on the dishes. The pre theatre menu is still quite extensive and was very tasty as always

On arrival we were both greeted with a warm welcome this was to set the tone for the entire duration of the meal. As we had booked on 5pm a glass of wine was included in the price of the meal and this was fully explained by our attentive waiter. After browsing the extensive and varied 5pm menu it was... More

This is fine-dining. The food is fantastic and you know immediately that the ingredients used are the best available. The beef in particular just melts in your mouth. The staff are always friendly and attentive but without being intrusive. My wife and I have been here many times over the years and have always came away with big smiles on... More

We stopped in at Dragon-i for dinner while visiting Glasgow after passing on numerous other restaurants. It seems that there aren't a lot of really good restaurants in Glasgow--most are pubs that become rowdy later in the evening. So compared to its peers, Dragon-i probably deserves an even higher rating. We enjoyed our food, but what really made the experience... More

Lovely evening spent in Dragon-I tonight with 3 friends. Can honestly say the nicest and most attentive staff I have come across in a restaurant. Others could learn from their welcoming and lovely manner. Food was excellent too with great sized portions. Will definitely return. Thank you :):):):)

Description
In a remarkably short space of time Dragon-i has become one of the most talked about restaurants in not only Glasgow, but in Scotland as a whole. In fact, this astonishing eating establishment has captured the headlines south of the border, having been named one of the top five Chinese UK restaurants in the prestigious Observer food monthly supplement. But Dragon-i is more than a traditional Chinese eaterie - considerably more - as the plethora of culinary awards testifies to the creative skills of our Scottish Chef Silver Award Winner, Stephen Man whose remarkable vision has turned it into an unforgettable dining experience. Their outstanding passion in creating a superb dining experience and a friendly environment with outstanding personal contact make any visit an evening to remember and treasure.
