Brought here by a friend who's Glasgow born and bred. In fact, he had worked here in his student days. A great lively bar serving a wide range of drinks with a smile. Decent prices too. Great atmosphere and a lovely vibe. Highly recommended.

We went to both the counting house and this one - they both share a similar theme - good interior designs but drinks are just so so unless all you are having is beer.

Nice atmosphere in here on a week night. Good selection of beers and whisky and good vibe. Seating at bar or all around the edge of the horseshoe. This pub is a Glasgow Institution and not to be missed.

I understand that it is pretty busy on a Friday but you could try the royal Scot bar which is just a minute's walk from the horseshoe bar and there is a bar called the crystal palace you could try as well. Hope this helps.
