I regularly pop into left bank when I can and today was another reason why, the staff are so welcoming and friendly, my waitress Jen was so lovely even when explaining the menu, drinks and brunch options. Never disappointed by this place

I met my son, who is a student at Glasgow Uni, for brunch on a flying visit to the city. He chose the Left Bank as he had heard good things about it and we certainly weren't disappointed. The building is split over several levels and is quirky with a lot of character. The brunch menu was extensive and the... More

This was a welcome surprise. After a little look around we settled on the Left Bank. It was very busy but the pleasant staff got us a table quicker than we thought. The service was very good and attentive with good advice on what was on. My wife had the house burger which I tried a bit of and it... More

I booked a table online as I had heard good things about the food here. The 4 of us had drinks along with our main and dessert. The fish & chips were rally tasty, but the Goan Chicken was easily the stand out. Good selection of beers on tap, was very happy to see both Drygate & Williams Bros available.

Nice original breakfast options with some unusual choices like the banana bread. Good coffee too bad they don't have freshly squeezed juices

Went in with friends for lunch, started our afternoon with some very unusual and delicious cocktails. The food was great, we shared a variety of plates and everything was lovely. The wine was also excellent. Very good service, will be back soon.

Heya Kieron, Thanks for your review of our cafe & restaurant this week! We're working hard to improve all levels of service at the left bank; I'm sad to hear of the unattentiveness due to distractions from generic fruit based devices and will be having a word. Moreover I am disappointed with our coffee, as normally it is absolutely spot... More
