We really enjoyed the vegetable pakora, butter chicken, okra and tomato, peas with paneer, and of course naan. We also treated ourselves to a perfect scoop of vanilla ice cream and coffee (served with a scottish tablet!).

Despite booking well in advance for a midweek curry, we were seated upstairs at the opposite end of a long table from another group, right next to the door. It was supposed to be a nice relaxing evening but waiters with buckets of empty bottles...More

We were a table of 10 yet the service was great. Love the interior and decoration of the restaurant! We all ordered starters and mains and both courses came out very quickly. The fish pakora was very nice. I shared a portion of butter chicken...More

An incredibly tasty experience, a symphony of exotic flavours lovingly prepared by an amazing family and staff. I would highly recommend this gem of a restaurant, and their ice cream shop next door.

We both loved the food at Mother India - awesome! Service was very slow. Took a long time for drinks to arrive and 45 minutes for our food 😔...

A friend recommended Mother India on a recent trip to Glasgow. It was only a block away from my hotel so I stopped in and gave it a shot. I was early enough to get in, but had to promise not to hang out too...More

You wont find a Rogan Josh or a Tikka Masala here. Proper food with tender chicken (in my case). Huge portions. Terrific.

I didn't know it ever was! First time visit and they had an extensive drinks menu including wine. Didn't notice any corkage details on the menu. I would recommend you go direct to them to check in case I missed it.

Not sure if it's BYO because we went for lunch but I'm sure it's just a matter of a phone call to ask :-)
