Lovely lunch, with a range of options. Beautiful décor, the refurbishment was clearly worth it. Service was a little slow despite the restaurant not being that busy but the politeness of the staff made up for this.

On lunch from work, I popped in to Monty's and opted for the small dish of Shetland mussels with white wine, shallots, garlic, cream and bread, and a side order of fries. Wasn't a small dish, it was perfect and oozing with flavours. Mussels are...More

Visited here for a hearty lunch after exploring the museums and university nearby. Lovely place with great Scottish food (we recommend the rumbledethumps!) Could probably do with an extra member of table staff: waiters seemed rushed off their feet and accordingly everything took a bit...More

We live in the South side and are, quite frankly, fed up with paying over the odds for meals that we could have cooked better ourselves. Beefeater? Pish. Seems you have to travel some distance to find anywhere that's decent: Uplawmoor Hotel, Oscars, The Mill...More

Visited here on many occasions and the food is of a very high standard. The 'veg stack', eggs benedict are great and the waffles with bacon & maple syrup are out of this world.Their Vietnamese coffee is great fun to try.

Recently enjoyed a lovely breakfast here prior to our trip to Kelvingrove Art Gallery. Parking not great nearby, so set out early. The cafe is not big inside , probably accommodate around 40 customers so booking a table ahead of arrival may prove helpful. The...More

Three of us ate lunch at Montgomery's. Two of us had soup. One tomato and one lentil. The third person had a chicken sandwich. It said it came with coleslaw. It certainly did, but it was in the sandwich instead of as an accompaniment on...More
