Worse pub ever had the misfortune to enter... Used to visit regularly.. After this visit it's our last..Rude barman. Took all his time to serve us. What happened to customer service. Cannot understand why anyone still drinks in this establishment. Has gone right downhill.

Used to come here a lot for good food and great atmosphere. Sadly this is no longer the case, the menu is basic and the decor is dated. The best thing about this place is dj George on a Friday night, banging tunes and great guy!

I live locally and have been a number of times to Lock 27. Whilst the food has always been to a v good standard and it is a nice spot to sit outside on the canal on a sunny day I always come away feeling that the place could be so much more than it is. The general place could... More

Dropped in here with a friend for lunch .First and last time. Should have turned back as we opened the door when we were almost overcome with the all-pervasive smell of disinfectant. What required to be disinfected to that extent and why ? Anyway , we were pointed in the direction of a free table by a gentleman whom I... More

We have eaten here on a number of occasions and have never been disappointed. With the lovely tartan carpets and original features, it has a great Scottish feeling. Canal boats pull up alongside, as well as regular customers who enjoy the ambiance. The food is not only good value, but tastes great. The bar staff are friendly and helpful. The... More

my wife and I heard that it wasn't the best place to go so we thought we would try it and as it turned out the food was excellent, we have been back 4 times since and although the manager seems unfriendly he is actually ok, i assume that they may have changed their chef recently and this new guy... Hadn't been to Lock 27 for a few years after having a bad experience but this was definitely not the case on this visit - really good. When ordering a drink the Manager pointed out that the draft cider asked for was 7.4% and unsuitable if driving - very helpful and thanks for the tip- alternatively, ordered wine and happy... More

While holidaying in Glasgow my friend and I decided to go out for a drink. Lock 27 was the nearest pub, it sounded lovely, being by the river/canal, it was quite late so I phoned to ask what time they closed - the guy on phone said 1am - so we decided to walk - it was a lovely night... More

I remembered enjoying a previous visit so took my friend when we were staying in the area. A long walk but worth it - the food was really good and the service was excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There was an offer - two main meals and a bottle of wine £20 - incredible value.

Found this pub with a lovely setting last night and the service was superb from Joanne? and staff. While the food was good but nothing oustanding it was good value for the money, especially the pizza thin and large and cooked to perfection. The steak pie the boss had was ok but personally don,t like a separate paste on top... More
