We were spending the weekend in Glasgow and having previously had many meals at this restaurant which were acceptable, we decided to revisit it. When we arrived the restaurant was only half full. My wife decided to have some Hot & Sour soup, the container was empty! we brought this to the attention of the waitress, who's only job was... More

Unprepossessing almost alarming exterior (purple), unprepossessing interior, but relly good tasty fresh-cooked food and wonderful value. Unlike some buffets there is a good choice, tasty meat and vegetarian dishes, starters, pudding (gateaux, fruit ice cream) all included in the basic price. It is nearly always pretty full, which tells its own story, but I have never felt crowded. The staff... More

From the outside this Chinese all you can eat buffet doesn't look that appealing and to be honest the largely clean but untidy interior had me wondering if the under £10 price tag was going to make me wish I'd opted for a big Mac meal instead. Most tables were filled and in Glasgow that's a good sign; I was... More

Don't get me wrong it had nice food and food was hot. Didn't find service was over bearing and was just right in clearing plates. However at 2am I was ill and it was rice that wanted to return. Yes u can say it was anything that made me sick but maybe the temperature on the rice should be checked.

Been to kings lodge a few times, and always great value, fresh buffet, big choice, make your own prawn cocktail for starter, great, and lovely ice cream, big selection of mains, place is a bit dated and tight but for food value 10 out of 10, only wee thing drinks are a bit expensive.

We decided to give this another chance after a disappointing previous visit. Big mistake. Compared to other Chinese buffets this was very poor selection for a mid afternoon. I am a trained Chef and all the cuts of beef and ham very over cooked as well as being cuts I'd never attempt to cook as tasteless. Chicken was also tough... More
