Frozen cakes and muffins, average coffee, insanely overpriced generic sandwiches and ciabattas. Clean your own table, boring and ubiquitous etc etc. Just go to an independent coffee place.

I visited this small branch of Costa for the first time at 2.15pm on the last Sunday before Christmas, after finishing my shopping in Argyle St, in preference to the St Enoch branch where I had a bad experience previously. It wasn't as busy as...More

I normally love Costa - friendly staff, good coffee, great cakes! Today's visit to Glasgow Fort was different though; whilst I get it was 2pm on a Sunday - peak time - the queue was long and very slow. The McDonald's style tills / counter...More

We always use Costa if we can when we have a need for a coffee/tea. The staff here were very friendly and took the time to explain that the picture of afternoon tea on the wall was a suggestion not a menu item! The coffee...More

I think that costa is quite over priced just ever so slightly! Although it is a great meeting place for friends and meetings and for stopping for a coffee when shopping. Toasties are good but again over priced!

This is part of a good chain of coffee shops. The coffee is good, the baking excellent and the baristas are obviously recruited and trained to a high standard. I think it is the best of its type - you also get real cups and cutlery!!
