Spent a lazy afternoon here recovering from a hard night... Filled up on the mixed appetizers selection and we were very satisfied. The bar is a mixture of different rooms each suiting different tastes and is one of the best irish bars I've ever visited.

Go here most times I am in the city centre as it is very hand fore Queen Street station. On a Sunday there is a Celtic band that plays which is great. My partner likes to go here to watch the rugby. On match days it can be very busy and hard to find a seat. The food is nice... More

I just love Waxy's. Whenever we have a family gathering, or want to watch the rugby, this is where we go. The atmosphere is warm and friendly, and each part of the bar has something different in it. This is a place with international connections, you will find someone from every country here. You could find live music in the... More

Came here for lunch with a friend, nice surroundings. Served quickly with a friendly waitress. We both had the steak and ale pie, it was ok but nothing special. Also thought it was overpriced. Don't think I'll be in a hurry to return.

Decided to visit Waxy O'Connor's as many friends had recommended a visit. It is a very quirky place with lots of different staircases (confusing to begin with haha) but i liked how unique it was. The food we had we could fault, we shared nachos to begin with then I had chicken supreme with haggis which was also lovely. The... More

This place is just fab, atmosphere was great. It was our first time visiting this pub and we were not disappointed had live music which is always a bonus , good prices and excellent service. As frequent visitors to Glasgow (we are Edinburgh based ) I will for sure be visiting Waxy's again

A very quirky pub, built on split levels. Food was good sized portions and value for money. Service was friendly and efficient and despite being a busy weekend, there was little or no time in getting served.

It was a great place to mingle with locals. The staff was very helpful but they should employ at least 1-2 more people. The pub is huge, there were several levels. The interior was like magic kingdom style, but we liked it. We had haggis neeps and tatties and salads. Both of the dishes were very good!

Aye and drank here over the weekend. Great pub and very quirky so that's a plus. Had to wait quite a while for service on good and drink, the barman was on his own and personally I think more staff were needed. Ordered food which was a while in coming and at best I would say it was average in... More
