Came in here for something to eat last night, nice set up and very interesting menu we had all the dips and flatbreads very nice, they don't have an alcohol licence but that does not bother me to much, as I had a Turkish delight milkshake which was incredible then main course of the mixed grill all the meat was... My sister and I had a lovely meal at Nur last Thursday. Had some nice babaganoush dip to start, followed by a chicken and a lamb tagine. Delicious dishes all round. Finished off the meal with some knockout baklava (spelt differently on their menu, Apologies can't remember the exact name) and delicious hibiscus tea. Atmosphere was fairly quiet, perhaps expected... More

Visited Nur recently on a Wowcher deal which offered 2 tagines, flatbread and a speciality tea for £12. The restaurant only opens at 5pm and is not licensed but you can bring your own bottle and the corkage charge is £3.95 for wine and 75p for beer. It is a small restaurant with an intimate atmosphere with lit candles on... More

Amazing, quaint little restaurant! Gorgeous interior with great service. Food was fantastic, was a really unique experience; unlike anything else in Glasgow. Perfect for a romantic night out!

Had a fabulous dinner at a reasonable price. Not licensed, but they are happy to open any bottle you may bring, chill it and provide glasses at no charge. Decent size portions, so make sure you don't over-indulge on aperitifs beforehand, though they will offer the option to take away anything you can't finish (within reason ☺) . Plenty of... More

Had a Friday night meal here which was excellent. Parking is a bit of an issue partly due to one-way system so grab whatever space you can, don't assume you'll find something closer! Mixed Grill was huge, more than enough to share between 2. Attentive service and good value for money.

Had a meal here on Friday night, the restaurant is really nice and cosy, beautiful decor. Food was beautiful, we had the chicken and beef tagines with flat bread. The meat in both dishes was tender and fu ll of flavour. We ordered some sides too, again they were full of flavour. The Egyptian salad with cheese was gorgeous. Will... More

Excellent food, great service. Will be back for more of the same. The lamb kofta was delicious. Bring your own bottle with no corkage charge.

My wife and I bought this deal. We had never eaten Egyptian food or eaten on the southside of the Clyde. We were a little bit apprehensive. We should never have given it a second thought. We were at our usual hotel on our visits to Glasgow for the New Year, so just had to cross the Clyde at Jamica... More

I visited here with my partner on a Saturday evening in November. Great ambience and lovely decor. There was even a belly dancer which made the experience all the more fun. The food was excellent. Really, really tasty. We thoroughly enjoyed everything we ordered. A couple of small points however. The service was excellent apart from one strange occurrence. After... More
