Good stop off point whilst awaiting train. Just across the road from Glasgow Central station, it has a good selection of continuous rock music, and serves food.

Soullless imitation of a rock bar which smells like it's on top of an open sewer at the bottom of Hope Street in Glasgow, it's hope over experience in this imitation rock bar - loud mainstream metal music in a brightly lit soulless bar, with video screens of rubbish movies everywhere. Everywhere is a smell of sewage? waste matter? The... More

Great rock bar in Glasgow, full of interesting people and also very good music. The only downside is that the music tends to be very loud, having a conversation can be a bit difficult but apart from that a must visit in Glasgow.

The Solid Rock pub in Glasgow is a great wee pub. Great range of rock music, great food and the staff there are a great bunch. If you are not into rock, metal, thrash or any kind of rock music, then this is not the place for you.

I've been here for lunch quite a few times, been on a Saturday night a few times also. Would definatley recommend the food here, it's to die for. They used to do an amaaaaazing lasagne here on menu, unfortunately they dropped it, total shame as it was one of the nicest things on there. Great quick service for lunchtime, great... More
