I'm really pleased we found Chinaskis on our last night in Glasgow. It was the culinary highlight of our trip to Scotland! The staff are super friendly and knowledable about the food and drink they serve. The main menu has loads of choice and is reasonably priced. There is a separate vegan and vegetarian menu which has loads to choose... More

Visiting Glasgow again after 7 years of being away and was SO glad to find chinaskis is still here. It used to be somewhere I'd regularly go and it's still a fab wee pub. Great beer garden, great bar, good food. Go here-you will love it.

Wisdoms says - be slow to judge. Immerse yourself before judging. Experience freely and fully. Then decide. Chinaskis is a case in point. It's near perfect grey-drab-urban-camouflage hides a secret. A secret world where art, food and music magically align. It's an immersive world that you won't want to leave. Inspiration comes floor to high-ceiling. Paintings, poetry and swimming fish.... More

Lovely place with great interiors, fantastic ambience and chill out music in the background. Food we had was really tasty - I recommend salmon with barley and greens, also great steaks.

Chinaskis may be hard to find at first.... but after getting in "by accident" easily became a common costumer! The athmosphere is great both for a quiet drink, dinner or weekend night out start.... food is delicious and staff are friendly and amazing!! Could not recommend it more

2nd visit here, previously had lunch a few days before the commonwealth games opened. That was a blistering hot day and we ate on the roof terrace. This time it was 2 days ago and a wee bit colder. We had an evening meal and drinks and the place was bouncing. We were eating vegan / veggie meals and they... More

I recently enjoyed the 2 course lunch in Chinakis which all the company I felt was excellent value. The food was really tasty and the portion size was surprisingly large for the price and lunch menu. Special mention for the mussels and the pulled beef burger which I had. I also tried my partners nasi goreng also I had a... More

It's a dark and atmospheric place this, with twinkly lighting. It's the kind of place I imagine you might find Peter Mullen or Robert Carlisle drinking in a corner - with a bunch of Russian Professors reciting poetry in another. They should feature this place in a film. It was buzzing and noisy - we had a table in the... More

Had a great Saturday night at Chinaskis! Firstly, the Amaretto Sour was one of the best I've ever had. The food was great (would massively recommend the Korean beef cheek and the chocolate brownie - both insanely good) and the service was ace! Shaun was particularly lovely - even accommodating my friend's request to take some polenta chips for the... More
