Celinos has to have the best tasting Italian food but the downside is that it is very cramped inside

I went with Wife ,Daughter and her boyfriend for a birthday meal prior to going to the SSE Hydro. Wife had been before with her mum and was her choose. I was very pleasantly surprised to find such a beautiful wee restaurant in the location. The welcome was warm and genuine, quick friendly service, The menu was superb and I... More

I see a lot of great reviews for this place here on trip advisor but I'm at a loss to understand why .It is far too expensive, no way should a restaurant along Alexandra parade be charging more than the city centre. I found the pasta stodgy and rather lukewarm, and when you check out the deli counter they have the... More

We stumbled upon Celino's, not thinking that an Italian restaurant would have much in the way of breakfast, but we were pleasantly surprised. They had a really varied menu with a little bit of something for everyone. They offer traditional British dishes like Scottish breakfast with black pudding, as well as some more familiar breakfast items such as morton roll... More

Booked a early bird dinner, good choice of starters and mains. We all enjoyed the pasta and pizza's. Drinks were good quality and staff were attentive and eager to please. It was very busy but this did not effect the food or service. Only fault was the poor choice of desert on this particular menu. I would not recommend the... More

Been here a number of times and Celinos continues to impress. Perhaps not the cheapest Italian restaurant in Glasgow, however a great menu that changes regularly. So no need to get bored with the menu. If your particular want is not on the menu the staff will see what can be done to people produce it. A great Deli in... More

Visited Celino's in the company of friends and had another top notch meal. I started with a delicious arancini - two included within the starter. The main course was veal milanese - another fine course with a good size portion of breaded veal with spaghetti in tomato sauce. Had enough room for a cheese course - the blue cheese was... More

Visited for a late Sunday lunch (served until 3) after a lunchtime match at nearby Celtic Park. It's like stepping from the East End of Glasgow into the heart of an Italian city! The place just shouts Latin atmosphere. Noisy, bustling and great smells! Great value lunch menu - decent selection too. Deli Smorgasboard and Gamberoni Arrabiata were both delicious.... More
