You'll really need to prebook for evening meals. This place is a REALLY tight squeeze for space and constantly busy. I visited on a Friday night with a friend - we got two seats at a bench table. A bench table is a plank of wood drilled to the floor with enough space for 2 plates and two glasses. But... More

My partner and I came one Thursday evening. We booked a table before hand which I would recommend. It's quite small inside but nice. I had two of the specials. My starter was cuttlefish on toast with peas. It was lush! So delicious. My main course was sea bass in a cuttlefish and chorizo broth. Again, it was so nice!... More

....although I was disappointed they didn't have my favourite queenies on their ''specials'' list !!!! Lovely crab cakes followed by monkfish cheek scampi, washed down with a bone dry white wine. Always love going to Crabshakk, and the service is always friendly, punctual but relaxed. Will be back soon

Went on a recommendation you must book to guarantee a table as it's another one of Glasgow very small but fantastic restaurants. We choose to share a large selection of starters the scallops were a real highlight followed closely by the prawns which we choose to have grilled the rest of the food was excellent the wine list was comprehensive... I came to Glasgow a couple of years ago & if I returned, I told myself I'd eat here again. Argyll street has some interesting eateries & if you're a fish & seafood lover do go to The Crabshakk. I had the most wonderful oysters as fresh as a Hebridean storm. Accompanied by finely chopped shallot enhanced by Tabasco. Heavenly.... More

A small restaurant very busy so need to book. A must for all seafood lovers. No need to dress up but a great place to have either a romantic dinner or a party.

We visited on a wet and windy night, it is Glasgow after all! And even though we hadn't booked, staff were more than happy to accommodate as soon as possible. The food was truly delicious and the atmosphere fun and friendly. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed bidding restaurant and would recommend it to anyone paying a visit!

On arrival, even though we had made a booking they had given our table to 2 other diners; after a bit of a wait the confusion was resolved and we got our table Service was great and our server was very attentive. In general the food was delicious, though I am not sure if I would bother with the langoustines... More
