We were there to celebrate a birthday & although the recommendation had come from London (which was why expectations were so high) the overriding memory will be the number of flies buzzing around while we ate. It was December so clearly not a seasonal problem. The staff all knew & commented how irritating it was & that no one knew... More

The right combination of service and familiarity, staff tuned into your needs, I had halibut and my wife chose duck, perfect in every way. I highly recommend this eatery

Let me begin by saying if I could give this 10 stars I would. This had such a lovely ambiance about it, and everyone was not only professional, and courtesy but extremely pleasant on top of all that. The interior is very dark wood and many different knick knacks, but it all works, it is wonderful. We had our first... More

We had dinner here over Christmas break. We had the Cullen skink which was very good. I had the pan fried fillets of sea bream, fennel & rocket salad, roast beetroot dressing. It was very good as the sea bream was moist and the beetroot dressing was very good. My boyfriend had the flash fried West coast Scallops, roasted sweet... More

Well looked after by staff. Needed to order additional veg as portions were a bit mean. Overall food and drink excellent.

Arriving to the restaurant made me want to go back to the hotel, the restaurant did not at all look like a restaurant from the outside. But once inside it got better, great smell of cooking food and a nice smile welcomed us. This is a very, very small restaurant with a very, very good food and an excellent service... More

We had dinner twice at this place during my last trip to Glasgow and I have to admit that this place is great. The prices are a little bit high for the service and food make up for it.

I had heard good things about this place before going and had friends over so wanted to go out for a nice meal. The restaurant was quite quiet once inside, however the decor is lovely, especially coming in off the dark street to a warm and inviting atmosphere. We were taken to our table near the back of the restaurant... More

Well known Glasgow eaterie, but nothing special. Was here with a group of colleagues for dinner the week before Christmas. Nice place, quite quirky. Food and service were hit and miss. Dishes arrived at different times and things were missed, so had to try and get attention from waiting staff who seemed pretty disorganised. Pretty expensive too for meagre portions... More
