I ate here two nights this week. I arrived at 7pm and ate of the buffet. The staff were welcoming and the decor modern and smart looking. There was an excellent choice both of starters and main courses all of which seemed freshly cooked and tasted like authentic Punjabi cooking. I passed on the sweet course only because I eaten... I have visited this restaurant several times over the last year. The staff are very friendly. It is run by Manjit Singh and his family. Manjit showed me round all the dishes on display in their ample buffet and carefully explained how each was made. Manjit is really clued into healthy eating. All his dishes are made using rapeseed oil... More

Staying in Glasgow weds-fri, came in to Bombay blues at 930pm on thurs night, welcomed and served promptly and efficiently- it had emptied out but was able to take our time. We could have a laugh and conversation with our server who in the end, sat with us on our table and felt like we had known him years! We... More

Went in here for a quick buffet dinner, food was excellent, all nicely prepared and fresh with lots of choice (starters and mains) not your typical buffet offering, they do it right in here. This place has been open for years and has always been top notch

Visited here on a recent trip to Glasgow. Nice friendly welcome on entry and well spaced tables. Menu options for buffet were very good value and proved to be the most popular during the evening. We opted for A la carte to have our favourite dishes which were tasty and very generous portions. Tarka daal was excellent. Nice buzz about... More

Bombay Blues is opposite Glasgow Central Station side entrance on Hope Street. It has a menu service and also serves a great buffet covering 3 courses; starters, mains and sweets along with naan and chutneys. I have eaten there almost every night I stayed over in Glasgow with work. The food is excellent and authentic (desi) and each new dish... More

Started off a day time session here with friends. Warm welcome from the manager, and a quiet table at the back of the restaurant. The selection of food in the all you can eat buffet was excellent-much better than some other places. All freshly cooked, sizzling hot and lots of variety. No stuff sat under a hot plate for hours.... More

We were looking for a place to it and ran into Bombay Blues on the way back from out tour. We like indian food and I can say that this place is authentic. We had the buffet and they didn't have fish on the buffet and they made bake fish for us. It is a family friendly location and they... More
