After a bit of a mix up regarding the voucher and dates for availability we finally got a booking for a Saturday afternoon. It was a bit disheartening that the response about the error made by the restaurant on their voucher terms and conditions was fairly rude and abrupt with no compensation offered. The food was delicious and you couldn't... More

Along with three girlfriends had a very enjoyable meal here this week, two courses for £18 , good value. The soup was yummy and beef strips with delicious sauce and mashed potatoes also very good, both daily specials . Nice service and quick delivery for the four of us when it was pretty busy. Nice ambiance and setting would recommend... More

Terry and I were looking forward to a late lunch (or was it an early dinner) at the Grill Room. We were to be joined there by my son. We had travelled up from the Scottish Borders earlier that day and arrived slightly early for our table reservation, and early for Euan too. He had yet to arrive. We were... More

We ate here on a Saturday, using an itison voucher for steak, frites and a bottle of wine. The restaurant has a beautiful interior, and the service was excellent. The steak was perfectly cooked and delicious. We also treated ourselves to some cocktails which were also top notch! We will definitely be back!

My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed a wonderful meal on Friday night. We have been there on several occasions and always enjoyed the food atmosphere and the friendly and attentive staff. I also had a fabulous time there on my 50th Birthday in the private dining room. Well worth a visit. 😄

The starters were good but despite having all our own teeth we were unable to eat the steak (£7 supplement) which was unbelievably tough and frankly inedible. So disappointing!

Second time visited and won't be back. Really wanted it to be great but the 10 oz off the bone rib eye was cooked well enough ( med/rare) but needed a dog to chew through it. The irony was, it was very tasty but just not tender enough. Same thing happen the first time I was there (May 2016) when... More

Food was nice, setting was good, staff were all fine. But for the price, there's so many other places that offer a better meal for a better price.

First time eating here and will be back, great atmosphere even as early as 630 on a Saturday night place was buzzing. Nice service, friendly, efficient. Went for pre theatre menu, starters was very small (!) but tasty, mains similarly beautifully presented and very tasty, recommend a couple of sides if you have a big appetite. 2 courses, shared dessert,... My wife and I took advantage of an Itson deal here. I went for the Steak and my wife went with the pork and beef strips. we both really enjoyed it and would love to do another visit soon.
