Thought I would get a carry out from this place but was hugely disappointed. The food was utterly tasteless which is even more surprising as I asked for it be well seasoned. The tandoori chicken was dull and pretty long in the tooth may I say. The chilli/garlic chicken dish was a wash out and had a few token jalapenos... More

Walked past this restaurant many time but only got round to visiting recently for my mum's birthday. The downstairs dining room is small and tightly packed but cosy. It was busy on a Friday lunch time in May which is always a good sign. The three of us choose from the £9.95 lunch fish menu (there are cheaper set menus... More

Lunchtime set menu is not expensive but the portion size is small. The food is quite good just not enough of it. They open at 12 noon, we were fairly early, arrived at five past twelve but when I tried to order a nan bread I was told we would have to wait fifty minutes! , yes fifty minutes for... More

I had the £9.95 lunch fish menu which gave me 2 pieces of fish pakora and I ordered the tandoori sea bass. When it came I had half a fillet of sea bass. I will not be back

Great food, really spicy when you ask for it. Staff were attentive and friendly. In summary it was a good experience. It was introduced to us as a Bangladesh restaurant but it tasted Indian. But still very good food.

Not sure what they raves are about. Each curry we had was bland and sweet. And, the sauce colors were odd, very vibrant (neon orange?!). Service was efficient and the place has some charm though I still wouldn't recommend it with other local options.

Fabulous service and good. Truly the tastiest Indian I have had in ages. The lunch menu was perfect for my small appetite and value for money was exceptional. The fresh taste was delicious!

Haven't visited the Maisha for quite a while so when a local voucher deal came up offering a great deal I had a dinner with two friends. The staff are very friendly and the food was decent too, but I always feel the table settings and décor could do with a woman's touch to bring it out of the stone... More

Visited during the schools Easter holiday with the family. Had the business lunch and thoroughly enjoyed by all. Chicken Tikka Masala a particular favourite with the kids! It is always really busy when we go which speaks volumes about the place. Service decent and food excellent. Great value for money!
