It's a takeaway with a restaurant attached which for us made the experience harder to accept. The fish and chips were nice, no doubt about it, but for £13 were no better than buying a carry-out, so we were left wondering what we were paying...More

A ride in the car over the remaining snowfall lying on The Sidlaw Hills, we found ourselves in Dundee City at Tail-ends marvellous Chip Shop around five ... just in time for two of their excellent fish suppers. As we had dined downstairs on our...More

Tried to order a curry from the menu, but we were surprised that it could only come with chips. Come on! I know it’s Scotland but we can do better and be healthier than that. Please offer rice with your curries.

Popped in here for dinner tonight, had battered haddock, garden peas and chips. Delicious! The fish was lovely and crispy and dry so not left with much grease, chips were tasty too. Service was good as it was pretty busy for a monday night.

Title says it all really. This place has the best fried fish and separately best chips I’ve ever had (and I’ve had quite a few). Definitely pop in when you are in St Andrews

The place is easy to find. The front of house is a takeaway, while the restaurant is in the back. The food was fresh and the menu had a wide variety of choice. They even have burgers! You can have the fish deep fried or...More

Visited here with family, just an alright lunch of fish and chips, nothing spectacular for the money, to be honest would rather go to my local takeaway fish and chip shop

Fish and chip heaven! The batter on the fish was pretty much perfect - light, crispy, just the right amount of salt, perfectly cooked and nice colour. The only thing to let down the meal was the below par mushy peas. Will definitely be going...More

Description
We are a family run fish bar and restaurant. We have been in the fish business for four generations and we hope to keep the family tradition going. All our fish is locally sourced and is as fresh as can be. We have our own fish house based in Arbroath, Where we are particularly famous for our Smokies! (Haddock cooked over a barrel, giving an intense smoked flavour) and our Humble Haddock is also a customer Favorite! We are passionate about seafood and it comes across in all our dishes from the Humble Haddock to our Seared Tuna steak! We carry a bespoke range of wines and whiskys suited to compliment your dish, just ask our serving staff for advice.
