As mentioned we had a view of the 18th at the Old Course and the restaurant is very nice and for sure a fine dining atmosphere. But for the expensive prices was not worth it. The lobster was a small portion for the "half size"... meaning you get half a lobster tail and nothing else (i.e a claw). When confronting... More

Really lovely food. Fillet steak was cooked to perfection and sides were very good. Servers and head waiter were excellent

Used an itison voucher which got in afternoon tea for half price - glad I didn't pay full price as I would really not have been happy. Once served our food staff were no where to be seen. No checking to see if everything was ok, no offer of extra tea/coffee. Had to wait 5 mins for anyone to look... More

Party of 6 booked in for afternoon tea at the end of the afternoon. Can't fault the setting overlooking the golf course. Service was lacklustre and at points non existent. We had to go to the bar to order our own alcoholic drinks. Sandwiches were nice and the plain scone and lemon cheesecake were good. Fruit scone was dry and... More

What a great setting facing Old Course and the sea. Had picked up a voucher from Itison. Very smart hotel, opposite Golf course. We were given a wonderful window seat to enjoy the vista. The deal consisted of a selection of sandwiches, scones, cream, various small jars of jam, cakes and chocolates and constant top ups of teas and coffees.... More

Food was good. They seemed a bit unprepared to handle a crowd, but we were in no hurry. They do accept reservations, however we were able to get in on second attempt with out. The lamb was outstanding, one of the best dishes I had on entire vacation

Somehow I hadn't been to Rocco yet during my many visits to see my daughter at university. What I'd been missing! It's an elegant and relatively formal place overlooking the 18th hole with sea views just past the green. The food was perfection and the presentation lovely. For a special meal in a special town, Rocco is the place.

Sunday morning breakfast was fantastic and great to see a vegetarian breakfast on the menu.Plenty of choice between fried food and continental with fresh fruit and scones etc available. Set us up for the day.

We requested and was given a window table with views of the Old Course 18th hole and R&A clubhouse. Unfortunately for us you can't eat the fantastic view. On the plus side the ambiance of Rocca is very good. The service was just ok but below par for a fine dining experience. There was a lamb dish with the two... More

My daughter and I had a lovely afternoon tea here with an Itison voucher courtesy of my husband! What a lovely way to spend a Sunday afternoon! We were seated at the window overlooking the west sands and of course the 18th hole! The food was very good as was the service. The young lady who served us (sorry, can't... More

At Rocca St Andrews our recipe for success is a fusion of exquisite food with a backdrop of one of the world's most famous sporting locations - the Old Course. Like the many champions that have graced the hallowed course, we too top the leaderboard as one of only 25 restaurants in the country with three AA Rosettes in 2013 - a reward for the creativity and passion of the Rocca family. The stunning view over the 18th means guests enjoy much more than just a delicious meal. Our menu features Scottish cooking with an Italian twist. Fresh ingredients are sourced from artisan producers either on our doorstep or in Tuscany and there is something to suit every palate. With a real pedigree in both our front-of-house and in our kitchen, you can rest assured a visit to Rocca will live long in the memory. Come and visit us and let our passion for food become your passion for delicious dining.
