My balmoral chicken was very nice you could tell the vegetables were tinned and cheap, table dirty when we sat down

I was staying locally and went into the Earl of Zetland on a couple of occasions for dinner. From what I have heard, it has gone downhill since it stopped being a Wetherspoons. On the first occasion, Friday evening I had Hunter's Chicken. The portion size of the chicken was large but the presentation and portion of vegetables was poor.... More

It is a converted churchcso has a bit of character to it. My bug bare when I last went was the tables were dirty and the floor needed swept. However the food though simple fare was good considering what you pay for it.

Popped into this interesting bar for a quick lunch. Food was ok. Prices are very reasonable so don't expect the best. But overall a nice place to sit and have a spot of grub.

Interesting use for an auld kirk. I'd driven past on a few occasions and when unable to get parked near the Falkirk hostelry Junior and I had planned on visiting we opted to visit the Earl. A mix of quiet booths and traditional tables we opted for a booth. Peruse the menu, check the table number and off to order... More

Maybe it was because it was later in evening we visited but food wasnt that great. Garlic bread was so hard it split in 2 when dropped. Food was warm not hot and portions were small. Prices were reasonable and drink prices were good. Lovely old church conversion with nice atmosphere
