Sanam's set lunch menu is great value - the portion sizes just right for a lunch and very tasty 😋. Waiters always very efficient and friendly. Just one thing to make it even better would be if they added a paneer dish to the set...More

Took a customer out for a meal and was immediately impressed with the decor, slightly different from the usual Indian restaurant style. Menu was mouth-watering, so I opted for the Mirchi Garam Masala which was absolutely outstanding, with some lovey fluffy rice and a naan...More

Easily the best Indian restaurant in the area, I've never had a bad meal and the welcome is so friendly. I recommend the chicken janter manter, my favourite. I also note that portion control has been implemented on the starters which is good - previously...More

Lives up to its name - lovely food, well served, efficient waiters and well organised maitre de. Nice to taste such good Indian fare, had Chamakchalo - a new one on me, fruity and delicious.

Had a lovely meal here the other day. Staff are courteous but not over bearing. Food was wonderfully seasoned, be warned though the naan breads are massive, one could easily feed four people, we mistakenly got one each and the waiter said good luck as...More

Why are children and under 18s in the restaurant after 8pm? It says clearly on the front door that kids and under 18s must not be allowed from 8pm onwards!!! During my visit there were kids running around let loose by drunk parents. Just curious as to why I saw this happening

Their licence for kids is till 10pm, as a restaurant guideline they say no kids after 8, they can change their minds at any time on that and allow parents in. Maybe if you had such a problem with the kids being in there you... More

I haven't had British food to be truthful but I'm sure the restaurant will be able to tell you, they're very friendly. Most Indian restaurants accommodate for different tastes. Hope this helps

Sanam Tandoori Restaurant first opened its doors in 1976 and has gone from strength to strength on the back of authentic Indian cuisine and a dedicated personal service.

It was originally founded and managed by Mr Mohammed Anwar until 1999 when he passed the reins down to his sons - Nadeem, Waseem, Naeem and Azeem - who continue to run the restaurant to the present day.

Over the years the restaurant has undergone several significant refurbishments - most notably its most recent renovation in November 2012. Today the restaurant is without a doubt one of the most stylish eateries in Central Scotland.
