Visited Love India recently after not being there since it was called Gandhi's. The food was absolutely excellent, so much so that we visited again less than a week later. Our waiter (sorry I didn't get your name) was absolutely top notch, and added completely...More

Wanted an indian not too far from our hotel and found Love India. Had read the review about ghandi's before leaving the hotel and couldn't find Love India on trip advisor. Not until we'd eaten that realised that the address was the same and it's...More

A really good meal with lots of vegetarian options. The young waiter was very friendly and professional. Bring your own bottle as no alcohol. One of the best Indian restaurants in Edinburgh.

A real find. Nice to find traditional home made curries. No alcohol but you are welcome to bring your own. Buffet and curries to order/take away available. Superb service in this friendly, clean restaurant.

We have eaten in Gandhi's for many years, sampling both the takeaway menu and sitting-in. We can truthfully say the food has always been of a high standard and the introduction of a buffet service has, if anything, improved the quality. There is a very...More

West End
Prevailing winds meant that most cities that grew in
industrial Britain had their most desirable

Edinburgh was no exception, with its wealthiest
citizens settling in its West End and leaving behind
grand Georgian townhouses, private gardens and genteel
