Agree with other reviewers here, if you are in a hurry, you may want to go elsewhere. I do, however, think this place is worth a visit. Silvia our waitress was delightful and really knowledgeable. We were looking for a red which would go with...More

We actually had had reservations at another restaurant, but when my son saw pidgin on the menu, we decided to cancel our other reservations and eat here. We were so happy we did- one of the best meals I had eaten in a long time....More

Good looking restaurant at first, but do not let looks deceive you unless you’re ready to spend your entire night here. The only excelent thing here was the price, that was at least 2x higher than what it should be. After a starter and a...More

Pleasantly surprised by this place. Food was to a very high standard. Scallops cooked perfectly, beautifully tender venison and an oozing chocolate fondant. Service was top notch. Classic decor, very cosy. Highly recommend it.

A really cool place with wonderful old town Scottish feel and excellent food located right off the Grassmarket. The Apple Tart dessert was to die for. Would totally recommend this place while in Edinburgh. Be sure and make a reservation ahead of time!

the town was once nicknamed, and stroll the Royal
