From the outside, the cafe looks like a takeaway place. It primarily is, however, having a sit in meal, is suprising. The food is freshly prepared and delicious. The service is great too. So don't "judge a book by it's cover" and book a table.

Been going here over six years and never had a bad meal once. Ordered a takeaway last week it was nothing like the same meals I always order. One tray of lamb curry had shredded lamb and one chunk of lamb, the other had 9. Usually both have 10 to 12 pieces with a thick sauce this was so runny... More

This is now my favourite place to eat curry in Leith, every time I come here to is have dinner with friends. The place is small though but with a very friendly service and a big menu full of chooses and a good price. I had try a different curry every time I go there and I've never been disappointed.... The best takeaway meal I've ever had. Tasty food, plenty of it and good value. We will be back when next in Edinburgh. Thankyou Curry Cafe!

I have ordered here a number of times, have always order chana masala, and it has always been really good. Excellent service, very friendly, and I will definitely be continuing to order from here.

We've visited here and ate in on quite a few occasions and are always happy with the food. Generous portions of tasty, freshly prepared curries. We have tried many dishes and love it every time

Fancying a nice curry, we visited the Curry Café on a Saturday night. There is a huge choice of dishes, so it was a difficult choice. We chose a madras and a pathia, rice and naan. This was all part of a take-away deal for under £20. Perfect. One of the employees was sitting eating his dinner in the restaurant... More

The tandoori chicken was ok but the rest was absolutely awful. Butter Chicken and Jalfrezi tasted just like it was straight from a 'value' jar.
