We normally use this takeaway at least once a week and I am glad it is in Edinburgh as the quality of food is amazing. We normally order paneer dishes and the taste takes us back to our roots.
I used to visit this place on a fairly regular basis, whilst visiting a friend in Edinburgh, and would buy the same dish every time: a Prawn Biryani. It was astounding. The chef should have won awards for his art. The flavouring of the Biryani...More

Weened on Punjabi food in Glasgow briefly in 1976, moved back to my home, Edinburgh ,soon after, where Bengali cuisine was more prevalent. As good as it was I still had a yearning for Punjabi flavours and textures. I eventually resorted to cooking my own...More

Came here late on a Saturday night and ordered pilau rice and a garlic chilli chicken. First off, a very reasonable price for both, which is always important. But more importantly, both were absolutely perfect - the garlic chilli chicken was spicy (as promised!) without...More

Frequented Lazeez for over 10 years, the service is exceptionally friendly and the food is simply the best Indian. Definitely one of Edinburgh's best kept secret.
Thank you very much for the kind words. I'm glad you enjoy our service and cuisine.
