This place doesn't try to be something it isn't. Its a very small and intimate indian tea room / cafe which happens to serve home cooked indian food. The prices are at the lower end of the scale which is why the main clientele seems...More

I had the Masala chicken dish with garlic naan. The dish was very bland, no spice at all and had barely any chicken in it. It tasted like a curry made from a jar (a bad one at that). The naan bread was soggy.. The...More

I am a tourist from USA. Came with a high hope. The guy who took orders was very rude and unfriendly. Not sure why. Prices are reasonable if you want to fill your stomach. Foods are definitely non-authentic Indian except Masala Chai. Don't try Biriyani...More

Went for the first time. Restaurant a bit cramped. Had the lamb on the bone which was tasty rice a bit overcooked. £1.50 for a can of rubicon juice a bit pricey. Service fine. Will try it again.

We visited midweek and shared the veggie platter. All the curry was delicious, really tasty and filling. The pakora and naan wasn't so good, prefer them crispy and they were soft and there wasn't enough rice for two people but there was plenty of curry....More
