The mussels were excellent. Can I give special thanks to the man who served me? You don't often get politeness, never mind courtesy as a solo diner. This was a busy restaurant and he made me feel wanted not an inconvenience. Thank you.
We went for a drink in one of Edinburgh's oldest bar. The personell can tell you a lot about the history of the bar and do this with fervor!! handy detail: there's a women's toilet too....

Good atmosphere. Good food although could, and shoud, be MUCH better for vegetarians. Good selections of beers and staff are friendly.
