We arrived on an early flight and stumbled in after reading some reviews. Breakfast came out fast and the food was delicious! The staff was friendly and the seating was cozy. We actually considering coming back for lunch.

Staying in Edinburgh, as usual we ignored the hotel breakfast and went out to find a cafe. Papii was one of the closest, and looked tempting. 2 huge stacks of waffles with bacon, 2 coffees and a breakfast smoothie set me back £20, which i...More

Visited here after a stay in Edinburgh. Used TripAdvisor to find good breakfast places and came across Papii. We visited here for our first breakfast experience. It was literally queued out the door. We were seated as soon as possible. The cafe was absolutely packed,...More

Waffles are cooked to perfection with just the right amount of syrup and fruit. Staff were welcoming and polite. Location is ideal , city centre. Small floor space so don't be surprised if you can't get a table.

We went here for Sunday morning breakfast. A group with luggage, we didn't suit the premises! But the manager kindly allowed us to take a table while some of the group left our luggage in the bus station nearby. The food and coffee were amazing!...More

We couldn't get in here the first day for breakfast (line was out the door) so we got there for lunch on last day of our holiday. It's very small (maybe room for 15-20 people around tiny tables) but the food was excellent (breakfast sandwiches,...More

Stumbled into Papii on a Saturday morning after being told next door at Urban Angel that the wait for brunch would be over 1 1/2 hours. Luckily here we were met with smiles and a reasonably short wait after queuing up for about 10 minutes....More

Friendly, welcoming, good coffee, and a superb breakfast menu. The smoothies are excellent, and my eggs benedict were great. I could happily have eaten everything on the menu! Teenage daughter very happy with her pastry. Thoroughly recommended.

We queued for half an hour here with plenty of people queuing for much longer. We were not disappointed! The food was brilliant, as was the coffee and freshly baked goods, we will definitely be going back here! Great seat in the window looking out...More

New Town
Suits and shopping bags rule the streets of New Town,
until after dark when strappy dresses come out to

This is a relatively new cafe in Edinburgh- opened last year. Not sure why it doesn't have its own page yet as it's very popular. Breakfast Brunch, good coffee, lots of homemade food, scones. open 7 days.
