Walked over here for breakfast and we had: Loudons Full Breakfast which included bacon, sausage, poached egg, black pudding, homemade gluten free tattoo scone, homemade baked beans, mushroom and toasted homemade bread - hubby loves it, especially the homemade baked beans. Benny Leonardo included English muffin with Parma Ham and garlic roasted red peppers topped with poached eggs and homemade... More

When we arrived it was vey busy, they offered us to wait a few minutes or to take a high table which was not a problem for us ! They had and extensive range of innovative brunch ideas ! We went there to have breakfast. The menu is impressive and the staff are very polite. Although the menu doesn't exactly represent the Scottish cuisine, the freshness of the products makes up for it.

Hi there, Thank you or taking the time to review us on here. It's great to hear that you enjoyed the expanse o our menu along with the polite service staff. Whilst we have some great Scottish ingredients (Haggis, Smoked Salmon etc), a brunch menu tends to lend itself more towards food from all over the world hence our decision... More

Popped in here on a recommendation. Obviously got a good name as it was busy. The breakfast was really nice, if probably the most expensive we have ever had. Staff were very welcoming and service was good. Nice as a treat.

We had a lovely cooked breakfast here on Saturday. Homemade potato scone was delightful as was the toasted bread. One of the tastiest breakfasts I've had. The fresh juice is also lovely. The cafe was very busy as it was Saturday morning but we were shown to a table straight away with room for our pram next to it. Will... More

I love this little cafe. We've been here for both early dinner and breakfasts. Lots of gluten-free dairy-free options for those of us with food allergies. The meals are so tasty.

Description
We are an independent family run and family friendly cafe and bakery. Freshly made is our hallmark....everything is made daily including soups, salads, quiches, pizza, bread and cakes.
Uncompromising in our coffee beans supplied by Artisan Roast and our loose leaf teas from Pekoe Tea.

We serve up one of the best breakfasts and all day Weekend brunches in town and are famed for our Eggs Benny.

We feel that customers with food intolerances should not have to put up with bland choices and pride ourselves in creating interesting and tasty cakes, bread, soups etc. that can be enjoyed by vegans, vegetarians and coeliacs alike.

Staying in West End

Neighbourhood Profile
West End
Prevailing winds meant that most cities that grew in industrial Britain had their most desirable neighbourhoods to the west – upwind of factory fumes. Edinburgh was no exception, with its wealthiest citizens settling in its West End and leaving behind grand Georgian townhouses, private gardens and genteel crescents. These backstreets remain as dignified and sleepy as ever, and most of the action here lies along the district’s busy main roads. Lothian Road connects to southern Edinburgh and harbors a vague entertainment district: three theatres and the city’s main indie cinema. All attract a select crowd, the sort who appreciate the Saturday Edinburgh’s Farmers’ Market around the corner. The West End’s other great thoroughfare, Shandwick Place, is dominated by trams trundling out to the suburbs and airport, and shoppers picking up last-minute items before hopping aboard.
