The menu and its range of ingredients demonstrate how good brunch can be. We got the Loudons Benny and Benny Huevos (on muffins!) and had half each. Absolutely dreamy. So refreshing to have a chive and yoghurt sauce with the salmon rather than the classic...More

Light and airy space and lovely, friendly staff. Full breakfast was delicious but toast was a bit thick (and didn't have much taste.) Coffee was very good. I would go back but you have to get there early (on a Sunday morning) as they queue...More

This is a very popular spot and with a party of 7 we had a bit of a wait (maybe 20 minutes) for a table on a Sunday (no bookings at the weekend). The Hoots Mon was great, the Poached Eggs and Avocado was awesome...More

Hi there and thank you very much for your review! We are indeed very popular these days but we try to ensure that it doesn't affect us negatively. Sometimes, larger groups have to wait a little longer for a table however it should rarely be...More

Food is quite nice - didn't knock me off my feet though. Service is very inefficient. Had to ask for my bill 3 times and been waiting for half an hour anyway. Delicious coffee though!More

I love Loudons for a breakfast/brunch/lunch. It's really lovely to go somewhere with options that are healthy and cater to different dietary requirements but still feel like a real treat! It can get pretty busy so you might have to wait sometimes but I think...More

And head to Loudons. Oh my gosh! I don't know about you but I hate waiting in line for a meal. There are hundreds of restaurants to go to why would you wait in line? Because it's Loudons! Absolutely delicious, fresh, creative fare and great...More

Hi there and WOW - what a lovely review! We have become very aware that some people may be put off by the queue at our door but that is why we try to stress (at every opportunity) that we never expect anyone to queue...More

We arrived early Friday morning and upon recommendation from our receptionist made our way to this café for breakfast. I have a restrictive diet - No eggs, wheat or dairy, so vegan food is usually a go-to for me, but understandably hard to please everyone...More

I visited Loudons with 7 friends for brunch on a busy Sunday afternoon. We had to wait a little while for our table (20 minutes) as we were a large party. However, it was definitely worth the wait! We all ordered different dishes, and none...More

Hi there, Thank you very much for your review! Sometimes larger tables do take a little longer to seat but 20 minutes is the longest wait we would expect! It sounds as if you really enjoyed the size and variation of our menu as well...More

We came for brunch on a Saturday while on a weekend away in Edinburgh. The full English was ok, but sausage and bacon didn't seem to be of great quality- nothing special. The French toast was great, and the bread was lovely and thick and...More

Prevailing winds meant that most cities that grew in

Edinburgh was no exception, with its wealthiest
citizens settling in its West End and leaving behind
grand Georgian townhouses, private gardens and genteel
crescents. These backstreets remain as dignified and
sleepy as ever, and most of the action here lies along

Only went in for breakfast and did not consider a beer, sorry I cannot answer your question. I can only assume that if it is on their menu, they will serve beer as long as it is within the licensing hours.

Description
We are an independent family run and family friendly cafe and bakery. Freshly made is our hallmark....everything is made daily including soups, salads, quiches, pizza, bread and cakes.
Uncompromising in our coffee beans supplied by Artisan Roast and our loose leaf teas from Pekoe Tea.

We serve up one of the best breakfasts and all day Weekend brunches in town and are famed for our Eggs Benny.

We feel that customers with food intolerances should not have to put up with bland choices and pride ourselves in creating interesting and tasty cakes, bread, soups etc. that can be enjoyed by vegans, vegetarians and coeliacs alike.
