Visiting family for a short break and went in for their 3 course lunch. Extremely well priced and all 3 courses were amazing. Great tasting mussels in a lovely sauce. Lovely haddock with an egg poached to perfection. Amazing tart and cream for the sweet...More

Had dinner here while on travelling solo in Scotland. Very nice little restaurant. Charming waitress and delicious food. I had the sea bream with asparagus. Delicious. Everything about this place is very good and very French

Nice cosy atmosphere. Food was really nice but menu choice was limited and portion size a tad on the small side, especially main course. Service was good and would definitely return.

Our family had recommended we go to Cafe Marlayne after their trip to Edinburgh 8 years ago. The food was very delicious. We had the cod and the seabass. Perfectly cooked! We even treated ourselves to dessert (cheesecake and chocolate tort) which we never do!...More

Small, intimate restaurant suited to couples dining. Limited menu. Lovely food, simply lovely. Had the duck breast which was rare and delicious, but the star was my wife's lamb rack, It had been cut into individual chops and as you bit though the crust there...More
