Highly recommended - excellent meal, beautifully presented and great use of seasonal foods. Service was attentive, without being overbearing and all courses were delicious. Not 'cheap', but good value for money

We had an excellent meal at this great restaurant. The bread with parsley pesto was fantastic as was the rabbit starter. I had lamb and it was great and my buddy had a steak that was perfect. Desserts were awesome, especially the Brownie. Highly recommended

Well it was a very good service and quite a quick to get the meals. Even the coffee was excellent as well. I definitely plan to go back some day as it was such a good meal and we all enjoyed it.

We had the fixed priced lunch menu. Not a big choice which is indicative of it being fresh. I had the fish rillets followed by the fish cakes. They were excellent and had some unusual flavours which made them stand out from other normal restaurants....More

Fixed price lunches and pre theatre menus not to be missed. French/Scottish cuisine. Although slightly off the main drag, worth the effort to visit

We ate dinner here on a family trip to Edinburgh and it was fab! I had a starter of duck liver parfait which was melt in the mouth followed by the cod with gnocchi which was divine. Lovely, professional staff also.

I'm thinking of eating here for my girlfriend's birthday during our stay in Edinburgh. I was just wondering if parking is easy/available? Pay and display is fine for me. Thank you.

They have another dining area downstairs which is where I think they seat larger groups. If you phone them I'm sure they will accommodate you, they are so helpful
