Simple bar with some good meals like hamburger and chips, add a Guiness for a pound more. The burger was tasty.

Just off the royal mile and very affordable compared to the eateries on the actual mile. Worth a 200 yard detour. Just don't have the coffee - very weak. Food good and service fast.

We came here for one reason only during a recent trip to Edinburgh for cheap drinks and to be fair, it's really cheap here. Don't expect much in the way of cleanliness. Cheap drinks is the name of the game. I wouldn't eat here.

Old Town
Few Edinburghers live in the Old Town, but its
labyrinth of dank alleys and steep streets suggests
this was not always the case. Today, it’s mostly
visitors, tartan-flavoured souvenir shops, and pipers
that you’ll find on its cobbled streets. This is the
place to get a feel for Auld Reekie (Old Smelly), as
the town was once nicknamed, and stroll the Royal

Description
Large 3 level pub in the centre of Edinburgh. We have some of the cheapest drink selections in town so we are very popular with students and backpackers. Traditional pub food served at brilliantly low prices. We are not affiliated with the venue known as the Tron Kirk.
